Welcome to the home of Nissekatt Norwegian Forest Cats.  Nissekatt is a small cattery located in Cumming, Georgia. We have been breeding Norwegian Forest Cats since 1980, first under Zazzara cattery and in 1982 formed a partnership with Mary Buckmaster and Nissekatt cattery was established.  Currently we are also in partnership with Asgard/Aesir Cattery owned by Joan Ayers. Today, Nissekatt cattery is owned by Susan, Jeffrey and Christina Shaw.  Jeff is a computer programmer for New York Life, Sue is a graphic artist/web designer who works part time for Sort.org (an environmental and animal welfare web site). Jeff was recently transferred from New Jersey to Georgia so we are still getting used to our new surroundings.   Tina is 12 years old and in 6th Grade.  She is a singer, dancer and a model and enjoys performing in musical theatre.  She is currently  preparing to start her dance and voice lessons at her new Dance Studio in Dawsonville, GA.  Tina has her own web site.
